An Exceptionally Fine Quality Pair of Miniature Japanese Meiji Period Cloisonne Enamel Vases of unusually small proportions, early Meiji period (1868-1912) and of Museum quality, complete with original carved hardwood bases.
Each main tapering oviform body with everted neck, with exquisite translucent rich dark shades of puce and green enamel foliage on a cobalt blue enamel ground.
Condition: Good condition with nice surface patination, tiny, tiny bruise at neck area of one, difficult to find, complete with their original wooded box..
