Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers of Small Proportions

Description

This beautiful antique Georgian mahogany chest of drawers dating to circa 1840, is a stunning addition to any room, this chest offers both style and functionality. The top is nicely shaped to the edge to the front and sides. Below this there are three drawers. The drawers have pretty brass swan neck handles with lovely cock beading to the edge. The escutcheons to the key holes are also lovely and decorative which sets it off beautifully. The chest is then raised on lovely bracket feet. The drawers have lovely fine dovetail joints as can be seen from the close up photographs.

The chest is handmade and features a stunning mahogany finish which is a lovely rich colour and wonderful grains have been used as can be seen in the photographs, making it a true antique piece. The small proportions of this chest of drawers is perfect for any space. Assembly is not required, and no additional parts are needed. This original piece is perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of antique furniture.

The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are:

- 24 1/4 inches (61.5 cm) wide.

- 16 3/4 inches (42.5 cm) deep

- 28 1/4 inches (71.5 cm) high

As can be seen from the above dimensions this chest of drawers is of lovely small proportions.

CONDITION: From the photographs you can see that this is an lovely piece of furniture. The condition of the piece is very good just minor knocks / marks commensurate with age. Please take time to view the photographs which are an integral part of the description.
