Circle of Richard Cosway - A Small Oval Portrait Miniature of a Lady C. 1810

Description

A delightful and decorative hand painted portrait miniature of a lady in a blue velvet coat. The glass is convex so quite hard to get a sharp image, but the miniature is beautifully painted and it has a gilt ring at the top so it can be worn as a pendant. There is a pearlised back to it. In some of the photographs it is shown with a gold and pearl necklace this can either be bought with the miniature or the miniature can be on its own. With the chain it will be £455.00 and the miniature on its own is £395. It measures 3.3cm x 2.7cm. They are both in very good condition.
