Description

A 19th Century Brass Table, Reading, Light.

With an opaline glass shade, resting on a circular collar, and arm, sweeping to meet the orb and ringed terminal, fitted with a tightening screw, to allow the light to be adjusted for height on tall shank, finished with a tapered and ball finial. The shank standing on an outward sweeping base, finished to stepped edges, finished with beaded decoration between the ball bracket feet. The underside with lead loading.

Date circa 1870.

A 19th Century Brass Table, Reading, Light.
