George VI canteen of cutlery
This George VI canteen of cutlery is fitted in its teak serpentine shaped table, that stands on long Queen Anne style cabriole legs.
The cutlery table is fitted 2 serpentine drawers each with a pair of brass swan neck handles.
The cutlery is stamped Elkington Plate, Elkington being a premier cutlery maker and usually used silver plated ware for its durability.
It has a 12 setting of dining knives and forks, desert knives and forks, soup spoons, bread and butter, grapefruit spoons, 2 sets of carving tools, a ladle, fish slice and fork, small ladle (one missing) sifter, sugar tongs, coffee spoons, 6 teaspoons (6 missing). 164 pieces in all.
This will make a wonderful addition to your dining table setting.
