Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.
It has the legendary calibre 8541b fully automatic movement with Hack seconds which is regarded as one of the finest automatic ever made and known as the watchmakers watch, as you can see is in superb condition.
The dial is in mint condition totally original and untouched it has had no restoration
The water resistant versions of this 8541b are exceedingly rare. It has an armoured glass and the IWC fish symbol on the crown.
It also comes with a new presentation box
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown.

The watch has just been fully serviced. It has been fully authenticated and found to be a genuine IWC in all respects.
This is a definite step up in quality from the equivalent Omega Seamaster and much harder to find.
