Excellent Japanese Meiji (late 19thC) bronze okimono of a pumpkin (and pomegranate) being eaten by rats. Fine detailed casting patinated in three different colours to enhance the realism. Signed Seisai chu. Ca. 19.5cm x 19.5 cm x 17cm high, weight 5kg. Certificate off authenticity. Box broken but signed lid provided.
Excellent original condition with nice patina.
