An important pair of Silver Serving dishes With hallmarks for Benjamin Smith London 1833.
 
The dishes of lobed shape surmounted by finely engraved Thistles denoting their scotish heritage. Each bear family crest relating to the marriage of John Arbuthnott: Viscount of Arbuthnott, & Lady Jean Graham Drummond Ogilvy eldest daughter of David Ogilvy, 9th Earl of Airlie. Each coat of arms bears the motto: Laus Deo - Praise be to God.
 
Each part of silver has corresponding hallmarks.
 
The Silver plated warmer bass with zinc lined interiors.
