Solid Silver Hip Flask

1920 - 1940
Description

A Silver Hip Flask.

The solid silver hip flask with a rounded cap, over the reeded collar, rotating to secure closed on a bayonet catch. The body with rounded shoulders and a slightly curved profile, to fit snuggly in one's pocket. The lower body with a slide off cup finished with a reeded and rounded rim. The base of the cup with rounded corners, and a flat oval foot.

Hallmarked throughout for G &n J W Hawksley, Sheffield 1931.

Width 3 inches, 7.5cm.
