An early c.18th, red walnut drop-leaf dining table. Featuring a solid, high quality, well figured, red walnut top of square-ish form, with double lobed detailed corners. Constructed from 3 single leaves. The end leaves are supported by single gatelegs. Plain frieze, raised on turned tapering legs on off-set pad feet. Peg jointed construction.
An extremely heavy table, made from early, very high quality, red walnut.
An excellent early piece of furniture, in good condition. Very much ready for use.

This table measures approximately 70 cm (27.5'') tall, 118.5 cm (46.625'') wide leaves up, and 39.25 cm (15.5'') wide leaves down, 119.5 cm (47'') deep.
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in a good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. No loose joints. The top has been repolished at some point. There are a few small marks and blemishes. One frieze has a couple of small veneer repairs. There is small repair to the top of one leg. Cleaned, waxed and is now ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
