This is the top of the range Tudor Royal model which has a solid 9ct yellow gold case.
The movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Rolex the watch is fully marked on the dial as Tudor Royal, movement, case and crown, the case is fully hallmarked as Edinburgh c1961 and the serial number of 14783. The champagne coloured dial is absolutely original and shows only the very slightest signs of aging which you would expect from a watch of this era.
It has a new top quality black leather strap and comes complete with its original red presentation box.
Rolex are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
The watch case measures 32mm in diameter not including the crown.
Overall this watch is in superb mint condition and the best example of a Rolex Tudor Royal we have ever seen, it would certainly make a perfect gift especially for a man celebrating his 50th birthday this year.
This watch has been fully and professionally serviced and overhauled by the authorised Rolex agent Robert Reeves MBHI. The process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. Every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
