This is the top of the range Precision model with a solid 18ct yellow gold case.
It is quite stunning with a flawless solid 18ct gold dial and it has a brand new black patent leather strap.
The movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Rolex the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement, case and crown, the case is fully hallmarked together with the model number of 2148 dating this to the 1960s.
It comes complete with a new black presentation box.
Rolex are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
The watch case measures 16mm in diameter not including the crown.
Overall this watch is in beautiful near mint condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift.
This watch has been fully and professionally serviced and overhauled by the official Rolex agent Robert Reeves FBHI. The process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. Every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
