Corvidae Antique has dated this piece to the 1920s.

The back is marked 935 with the letters KP crossed in a shield - the distinctive mark of the quality jewellers Knoll & Pregizer of Germany (described by one jewellery historian as "the Cartier of German costume jewellers”), which traded from 1887 until well into the 20th century. Their handcrafted pieces are constructed in exactly the same way as pieces of fine luxury jewellery and were often bought in the 1930s and 40s by women who would regularly also wear top-end designers such as Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier.
