Eye-catching and unlike any contemporary piece, this pendant necklace is captivating at first glance and is unapologetically Victorian in style and elegance. This pendant features a rock crystal cabochon (backed with red lining) that has a wonderful saturated and almost ''strawberry candy-like'' hue. The cabochon is embellished with a gold star with a central seed pearl and five old rose-cut diamonds surrounding it. This celestial theme and look are completed with further seed pearl decorations on the border and overall capture the mystical nature of divinity/space in an enchanting design. The reverse side of the pendant also features a finely hand-engraved lid that reveals a locket behind. The intricate craftsmanship and skill in making such a delicate yet ornate design are exemplary and marvellous in this piece. The finely applied gold, rope-twist border and stippled effects are all a testament to the craftsmanship of a bygone era.
