A very good quality French brass gilt antique mantel clock with silver gilt and bronzed decoration from the Victorian period. The case has square fluted Corinthian columns finished with capitals, rose embellishment, female mask and leaf motif design surmounted by an urn to the top of the case.
The clock has a silvered dial with Roman numerals and a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a gong.
The clock movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
