A 17th Century Wainscot Chair.

Description

A 17th century wainscot chair constructed from oak , and having a lovely carved back panel, shapely arms with finely turned supports, a heavily moulded seat and legs united by peripheral stretchers. The chair has a stunning rich dark oak patina with red and orange hues, and some traces of old wood worm commensurate with age.

The chair is in excellent condition and is very solid.
