This is an excellent original example of the MK VIII. It is fully functioning, has a brass case and is mounted with lanyard ring. The glass face and numbered brass outer ring are perfectly intact. The lid is stamped ''Verner''s Patent VIII''. The rear of the case is stamped with war department arrows and by the top-notch manufacturer ''S Mordan & Co.'' together with ''1917'' date
 
A great clean example in excellent condition. 3 1/4'' x 2 1/4'' x 7/8'' thick. The case measuring 4'' x 3'' x 1 1/2''.
