A Late Victorian Silver Cluster Brooch

Description

A lovely silver brooch from the late Victorian period. This attractive example is in cluster form, with a central facet cut Amethyst paste stone in a delicate rope twist, claw mount. The Amethyst is surrounded with clear paste stones, all facet cut to catch the light and are also set in rope twist, claw mounts. The brooch is secured with a strong hinged pin and C clasp. An excellent, versatile piece, making for a great gift idea.

Condition :- Excellent, with no damage. The clasp works well and the pin hinge is strong. The brooch retains the lightest hint of the original gilding.
