A wonderful example of a Victorian burr walnut jewellery box dating back to c.1860. the box features elegant brass and tulip wood inlaid escutcheons to the top and front of the box. Complete with a working lock and tasselled key.
Open the box to reveal the original pink silk interior to the back of the inside lid. We have relined the rest of the box in handcrafted marble paper.
Superb quality and condition measuring 25 x 18 and stands 14cm high.
