Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1860s.
They also come with brand new black coloured shades but they will accept almost any shade that you prefer.
They are in excellent condition with the brightness of the solid brass yet retaining the patina which you would expect of genuine Victorian pieces.
The cords are the traditional woven style cable which adds to the authentic antique look.
They measure 33cm high including the shades, the base is 7cm square and the shades are 14cm in diameter.
This is a beautiful genuine pair of lamps and not to be confused with reproductions.
