Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The mirror in well figured walnut. The rounded concave and stepped pediment with turret corners, over the Corinthian capitals, before the raked flat pilasters, finished with a likewise rounded, concave and stepped socle, before the ogee profile carved leaf feet. The columns set against the flat frame and flanking the concave slips, holding the original plate.
Date circa 1850.
