Fabulous Pair of Victorian Sauce Tureens – Circa 1840

Description

A Fabulous Pair of Victorian Sauce Tureens with beautifully decorative borders and handles with shell decoration. These sauce tureens have pull off lids and each stand on four decorative lions paw feet. Both tureens have the phrase ‘I Dare’ engraved above the crest of a dagger and come with king’s pattern sauce ladles of a latter period – circa 1840.

Measurements:

Height: 6" (approx. 15cm)

Width: 8" (approx. 20cm)

Depth: 6" (approx. 15cm)

Total weight: 1960g

In good condition - a few minor dents and scuffs consummate with antiques of this age.
