The walnut case, adorned with intricate floral marquetry, showcases a profusion of flowers, urns, and a pair of figures supporting a shield. The trunk door features a charming glazed oval lenticle, while the flat-top hood boasts a decorative marquetry panel, barley twist columns, and convex throat mouldings for added elegance.

The 11-inch square dial is a masterpiece in itself, featuring finely cast cherub head spandrels, a meticulously matted centre, a subsidiary seconds dial, ringed winding holes, and an intricately engraved three-crown calendar box.

Powered by a high-quality 8-day, five-pillar movement, this clock strikes the hours on a bell via a count wheel, offering both precision and reliability.
