An extremely fine quality French bronze gilt antique mantel clock from the Victorian period. The case has decorative mouldings, beaded bezel detail, and leaf design throughout stood on scrolling foliate feet adorned with doves, putti and Greek goddess Nike. The clock has inset sevre style porcelain panels with hand painted cherubs and flowers within a gilt and blue border.
