Description

Edwardian inlaid revolving bookcase

This Edwardian inlaid revolving bookcase is made of mahogany and was made circa 1900.

The square top has the fine satinwood banding to the edge and the central fan motif to the centre, all inlaid to a well selected piece of solid mahogany that has a very interesting grain.

There are slats attached up the sides to support books when they are stored on the solid mahogany shelves.

The bookcase revolves using a mechanism that is connected through the body and down to the cross base with castors to the underside.
