A French Four Glass Mantel Clock

Description

A French brass cased four glass mantel clock of smaller proportions. Bevelled glass panels with opening front and rear doors. An enamel with blued steel 'moon' hands. A visible escapement with jewelled pallets. A mercury compensating pendulum. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong by Marti of Paris. Circa 1895.

Height 10" / 25 cms Width 6 " / 15 cms Depth 5" / 13 cms.
