Description

A sweet Bow porcelain coffee cup painted in polychrome enamels with flowers, chrysanthemum, daisy, rose and poppy. It has a more unusual Chinese shaped handle. Unmarked, c.1760-1765.

It measures 6.6cm (2 5/8") high and 6.1cm (2 3/8") rim to rim, 8.9cm (3 1/2") rim to handle.

In very good condition, there are two very small slither chips just inside the rim, predominantly just glaze loss. No other damage or repairs and minimal handling wear; the enamel is in excellent condition.
