CONDITION:

From the photographs you can see that this is an exquisite piece of furniture. The condition of the piece is also exceptional considering it''s age and the detailing. There are some knocks / marks commensurate with age and use and the is some unevenness to the brass in places which can be seen in the photographs. We can only find only very small piece of brass lacking from one of the ends of one of the diamonds on the end of the lid. We have not wax or polished this just left it as found and as such it would no doubt be enhanced with a wax and polish. Please take time to view the photographs which are an integral part of the description.

Overall it is a wonderful early chest and will look super in any room it is placed, so happy bidding.
