Hand of Glory has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The cupboard was possibly originally bought as a kit for home construction.
Plans or all the materials required to make the finished article could be purchased. Items such as bookends, wall brackets or clock cases are more common but it's very unusual to find a large piece such as this.
In good condition throughout, the top would originally have had a low gallery back which is now missing.
87cm high, 54cm wide and 34cm deep at the centre. Each side panel is 38cm deep.
