This antique Georgian oak cupboard / cabinet and drawer is a stunning piece of furniture that will add a touch of elegance to any room. The cupboard / cabinet can be either wall hanging or desk top. The piece is George II and dates to circa 1740.
The top of the cabinet is nicely shaped and finished with a deep molding which sets it off beautifully. The doors has a lovely shaped panel of molding and a pretty shaped escutcheon. The cabinet is complete with it''s lock and key which is working which is a lovely rare feature. The door opens to reveal a single shelf. Below the cupboards is a single drawer which again has lovely molding to the edge.
With its beautiful design and high-quality material, this cabinet is perfect for storing a range of items from spices to cups or bathroom items and as such could find a use in any room in the home. The cabinet features a wall-mounted design with a free-standing option, making it easy to place in any room.
