A very fine and rare set of TEN Copenhagen PORCELAIN FIGURES by the famous Carl Martin-Hansen. These scarce and desirable figures are beautifully modelled and charmingly hand-painted. They form the series of children from various territories and islands that are part of the Kingdom of Denmark, including: Jutland; Grųnland; Farųe; Armager and Fanų. Each wears their brightly-coloured national dress, the girls with garlands of exquisite flowers. Truly delightful ~ and a very special Christmas present for someone… Measurements: 10 – 14cms high (4 to 5.5ins). c1910-1925.
