A fine Victorian brass hunting inspired box of rectangular form with a rear hinged lid, with chased decoration around the sides depicting a woodcock and hare on the sides with a dog chasing a fox on the front and two horses with a dog on the lid, one of the horses being applied and raised. This finely detailed box has a wood lined interior and is in excellent condition measuring 5 ¼ inches in length.
