Description

This wonderful tea caddy is made of kingwood and has parquetry inlay. It is a French piece dating to the Louis Philippe period, c1840. The piece is edged in brass and has two internal tea compartments. Lovely shape and glowing colour.

In good condition with slight surface wear. The internal compartments are worn to the interiors and one of the internal lids has a replacement finial. No key. Small patch to front.
