Magnificent Pair of Cut-glass Claret Jugs – Circa 1930

Description

A Magnificent Pair of Cut-Glass Claret Jugs with beautifully embossed silver-plated tops and handles, and a bearded face as their pouring spouts. These claret jugs have flip up lids that are decorated with finials of lions holding shields. Their glass bodies have diamond cut decoration and star cut bases – circa 1930.

Measurements:

Height: 12 1/2" (approx. 31.5cm)

Width (spout to handle): 6" (approx. 15cm)

Total weight: 2850g

In good condition – any dark areas are shadows from the photography and there are no chips or cracks to the glass.
