Large Antique Pine Trunk

A lovely 19th-century pine trunk. The trunk has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a neat interior with a candle box. Exposed dovetail joints are visible at the corners, and brass drop handles on the sides make it easy to carry. Raised on a plinth base and finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. There is some splitting (pictured), loss (pictured) and dents (pictured) to the top, however, this does not affect the overall integrity of the pine trunk. There is some staining to the sides ((pictured)). Overall, the pine trunk remains in great antique condition.
