A good quality Victorian figured walnut writing slope. The top inlaid with double brass lines, with an oblong vacant engravers plate and bound with brass all around. The Bramah lock still works with its original key as does the interior slope lock, which opens the top writing board to a compartment with two secret drawers.
Inside it still retains the original decorative leather edges surrounding the blue lamb-skin inlay. Pen tray, nib holder and pair of screw topped inkwells.
