Antique (19thC) Chinese mahjong set in fitted brass-bound black lacquered box, decorated with good luck symbols including swastikas, bats and butterflies. Full complement of 144 bone-faced bamboo-backed hemp general tiles. Chest measures 20.5cm x 19.5cm x 18.5cm high, weight 4.15kg.
