P A Oxley Antique Clocks & Barometers has dated this Antique Mahogany Wheel Barometer to the Regency era.
The case is veneered with mahogany and ebony/boxwood edge inlay. The front of the case also features oval and circular inlaid shells.
The centre of the dial is signed by the maker F. Molton of St Lawrence Steps, Norwich. The barometer reading can be recorded using the central brass set hand. Also with a thermometer which measures from 20 to 110 degrees.
