This Sheraton style mahogany twin pillar dining table was made circa 1930.
The legs with the fine reeds run into the cast brass toes that have the same reed, and with the brass rolling castors under.
The design of the bases is very much after the designs of Duncan Phyfe, a famous American cabinetmaker of the 19th. century.
The mahogany top with rounded corners has the wonderful deep satinwood cross banding around the edge, and a further satinwood banding on the edge of the table.
This mahogany dining table has 2 extra leaves that you can use to suit your dining needs. You can use no leaves or one or both extra leaves.
The table pulls out on runners to allow you to put the leaves in place.
