Fine Stool - Oval - Late Victorian - In the Manner of George ll

This fine oval stool is wonderfully presented and an excellent example.

The cabriole legs are nicely shaped and show good colour. The exquisite carved detail to the knees and well formed claw and ball feet complement the very attractive sweep of the leg.

The seat has been recently professionally traditionally re-upholstered with a classic quality textile.

The mahogany frame is robust and in good order. The condition and shape make this a rare find.

Overall a superb stool and a piece of furniture which will delight for years to come.
