London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
This excellent double hoop Windsor chair is in fine order. The chair originates from the North of England.
The Elm seat of the chair displays the grain wonderfully with brilliant depth and warmth.

The wood grain throughout the rest of the chair is nicely revealed. This combination of quality timbers results in a sturdy chair with bags of character.
The backsplat is stylishly designed and the turned legs and front supports are a pleasing feature. There is an H-stretcher to provide a robust base for the chair.

At 43cm seat height the chair offers an excellent seating position. It is wonderfully comfortable too.

Overall a nice piece which will look great in any location.
