London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
This Edwardian chest of drawers are in fine order. Excellent build standard is evident throughout.
The Walnut is a fabulous colour and the quality of the chest is obvious. The choice of Walnut definately elevates the chest over the far more common mahogany examples.
The whole sits upon a continuous plinth with shaped front apron.

The batwing handles are original and add to the piece.
The layout is '2 over 3' with the drawer design. Unusual styling benefits this chest with the three full width drawers being of equal depth as opposed to the usual set-up of each becoming progressively deeper towards the bottom.

Top pair = 13cm height
Second tier = 20cm height
Third tier = 20cm in height
Lower tier = 20cm in height
The chest is in great order and will perform perfectly and look wonderful for many decades to come. A handsome chest and rare in this condition and quality.
