This hand-painted, polychrome figurine features a base decorated with lovely gilt accents, showcasing the refined artistry typical of Sitzendorf porcelain. The bottom of the figurine bears the Sitzendorf company mark, confirming its authenticity.
 
Founded in 1760, Sitzendorf porcelain became renowned for its highly detailed and ornate figurines. Under the ownership of Alfred and Carl Wilhelm Voigt from 1884, the factory solidified its place as one of Europe’s leading porcelain producers. Sitzendorf pieces, especially those manufactured before 1932, are highly sought after by collectors due to their vibrant colouring and craftsmanship.
