A magnificent French late 19th century amboyna & kingwood collectors box / cabinet in the manner of Tahan, Paris. The top inlaid in fine brass wire with a decorative central cartouche with brass and mother of pearl inlays, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon. The top is banded with brass which has some age related dings and dents but all present.
The box has at some point been re-fitted with three solid oak drawers to create a practical collectors cabinet for those with a slightly larger collection of items. Each compartment 16.5cm x 5cm.
Note the dividers could be re-configured or removed to suit your collection.
