Omega Speedmaster Cal 321 C1965 Reference 105.003.65 "Ed White"

1940 - 1960
Description

This is an absolutely stunning example of the legendary calibre 321 Omega Speedmaster the exact same model and specification that was worn by Astronaut Ed White on the very first spacewalk and the last Omega worn on the moon by Gene Cernan.

It was used by the majority of the Gemini and Apollo Astronauts such as Ed White, Jim Lovell, Neil Armstrong, Gene Cernan and many others.

It has a superb un polished condition 105-003-65 non crown guard case with the Speedmaster logo to the back, the lug width is 19mm The glass is also new and perfect. The case diameter is 39.5mm without the crown or pushers.

The original stepped edge Pre Pro dial correctly lacking the word professional and has the raised silver Omega logo. The original dial and hands have been relumed.

The bezel is original and in super condition with the correct dot over ninety and accent over the "Tacymetre"

The hand winding cal 321 movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition. It has just undergone a full professional overhaul and all chronograph functions work perfectly, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking and is considered to be far superior to all later Speedmaster movements. The movement is running at plus 2 seconds per day and has a running amplitude of 310 degrees, all functions work perfectly and the flyback is instant and crisp.

It comes with an Omega travel case

We have shown it with various strap options but can fit almost any colour or style just let us know your preference.

This is the most desirable version of the Omega Speedmaster, you could say it's the E Type Jaguar of all Vintage watches.

Like all of our watches it comews with a one year warranty

The cal 321 Speedmaster is a legend in the world of space exploration.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
