Lovely quality and proportions, veneered to the back so can be free-standing in a room if required.
*Taprell, Stephen & Holland (1803-1843) are recorded at St. James, Wesminster, London. In 1843 they became Holland & Sons. The attribrition is based on very similar but later tables bearing the Holland & Sons maker''s stamp. Given the earlier date of this table it is likely to have been made by Taprell, Stephen & Holland.
Good original, unrestored condition. Structurally sound. The top has some small surface dents and blemishes, see image

** Interestingly the renowed Scottish cabinet maker James Mein is recorded as using similar handles.
