A good early Georgian figured walnut chest on chest/ tall-boy, of small proportions, the drawer fronts cross-banded with herringbone inlay, there are oak sides and drawer linings. The drawers are separated by DD mouldings, and the chest on chest is a good warm colour. The tall-boy stands on shaped bracket feet, and has brass handles. There is ebony inlay to the escutcheons & a special secret locking mechanism to the top middle drawer. An attractive useful piece with plenty of useful storage space.
