Description

19th century architectural empire birch cupboard of large proportions circa 1870.

We are pleased to offer this stunning swedish cupboard which we found on our travels around scandinavia.

At nearly 9 feet tall this is a real statement piece for any interior.  comprising of 2 sections.  top section with cornice top and featuring a hand carved circular boss set in a semi circular recess. Pair of paneled doors each decorated with turned columns.  interior consists of 2 later pine shelves for masses of storage.  bottom double door cupboard opens to reveal a fixed shelf, finishing with a decorative freize around the feet.

Minor surface marks to woodwork, sympathetic restorations to woodwork.  recently hand polished in our workshop and ready to be enjoyed.
