A very unusual Regulator longcase clock with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power.
Also featuring brass covered weights, a huge Regulator pendulum with a wooden rod and striking the hours on a bell.
The dial also features seconds, date and a very useful strike/silent mechanism below number XII.
The case has a very modern design to the top of the glazed trunk door and is veneered with high flame and crossbanded mahogany throughout. Also with ebonised mouldings and inlay.
C.1810
Please Note: Although currently in working order the movement will require a full overhaul and service before delivery.
