Description

A 1962 Omega Constellation Automatic wristwatch. A silvered dial, with a rare brushed metallic finish, preserved in excellent condition. Applied stainless steel hour markers, each with a central black strip - doubled at 12 o'clock. A date aperture to 3 o'clock. Applied steel Omega logo, script and Constellation star. Signed 'Swiss Made' below o'clock. The hours and minutes are indicated by steel 'dauphine' hands.

A stainless steel case with a screw down back. The back is embossed with the Constellation line logo of the Geneva Observatory. This case variant is an example of the 'dog leg' case, with finely crafted lugs showing champfers to the edge. Case reference 14902 62 SC. The watch has an original Omega winding crown.

The watch is powered by a 24 jewel caliber 561 Omega mechanism.. The 19m serial numbers date this watch to 1962.
